Kevin Feige has not been quiet about having Deadpool in the MCU. Today we may have gotten another step closer to that happening. Ryan Reynolds posted a picture on Instagram today of himself in front of the Marvel Studios Logo.

“Auditioned for the role of ‘Anthony Stark’. Didn’t come even remotely close, but the nice man with the taser escorted me to the ground.”

Now he could be kidding about auditioning for a role seeing that he is already in the Marvel universe. Just not directly in the Disney/Marvel MCU. Hopefully it means that he was able to talk to production heads about incorporating Deadpool into the ever expanding MCU.

Whatever is happening is definitely exciting for fans of Deadpool. Since he is such a fan favorite there is no doubt that even a cameo from him would spice things up for the current films. This story is developing. Stay tuned!
