Kevin Smith Wraps Production on ‘Jay & Silent Bob Reboot’

In what felt like a week of shooting Kevin Smith has wrapped up filming his upcoming movie “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot”. He announced on twitter that after 21 days of work they have finished shooting the film.

IT IS ACCOMPLISHED! Last night, after a 21 day shoot (the same number of days in which we shot CLERKS some 26 years ago), we wrapped my Askewniverse magnum opus #JayAndSilentBobReboot! Thank you to my #NewOrleans crew, my cast and especially @JayMewes for his stellar performance! pic.twitter.com/cqNKbUVZlV

I would assume this means that Smith is very happy with what he has shot so we can expect some epic comedy. In all honesty though I don’t think any of his films miss the mark. I can’t think of anything that hasn’t come out right.

It was announced that distributing the film will be Saban due to them seeking out more IP’s. In a strange move by them they backed Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, which is great for fans of the movie because it possibly means we will be able to watch it everywhere instead of a select group of theaters.

Jay and Silent Bob Reboot is expected to release sometime this fall.

Are you excited to see the second movie? Tell us in the comments why or why not!
