Its times like these I really think I missed my chance. Of course I was never into traditional weddings from the start. That’s really the best way to be is nontraditional, and Costco has just the thing for the person who wants to make the biggest impact.

If you really want people to come to your Bar Mitzvah, Sweet Sixteen, Wedding or any event really you should consider this cake. It’s five layers of just cheese.

What we have from top to bottom is Brillat-Savarin Triple Cream Brie, Tuscan Sheep’s Cheese, Murcia al Vino, Danish Blue, and Red Leicester. The “cake” weighs about 24lbs and feeds 105 to 150 people. It is a Sid Wainer & Son Specialty item that Costco is selling. The cost on the cake is $439.99 which isn’t bad if you think about the average cost of a wedding cake. They usually range in the $500-$1000 range.

If you do opt for this I only suggest you have crackers on hand. It does not come with crackers. Or assembled, it doesn’t come assembled either but really how hard could it be? Oh and you will want wine. Lots and Lots of wine.

Would you ever get a Cheese “Cake”? Tell us in the comments!
