    ‘Wizard of Oz’ Showing in a Theater Near You!

    Follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City at a theater near you!

    If you loved The Wizard of Oz as a child and have watched it over and over again at home, now is your chance to enjoy it on the big screen!

    In honor of the movie’s 80th anniversary, Turner Classic Movies has scheduled The Wizard of Oz on January 27, 29 & 30 as part of the 2019 TCM Big Screen Classics Series. Each TCM classic is usually preceded by some behind-the-scenes trivia about the film and followed by some insights provided by TCM host Ben Mankiewicz.

    So be transported with Judy Garland’s incomparable rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” make the acquaintance of an assortment of unique characters, cower at the Wicked Witch and her flying monkeys, and realize that there really is no place like home.
