Remember when they released Pokemon Pikachu? That little yellow digipet you had to shake to death for electricity points? Well Nintendo is doing us one better by giving us a tamagotchi version of many peoples favorite pokemon! Eevee!
It was confirmed by the official tamagotchi website earlier this week that they were indeed coming out with this cute little guy.
There will be two design options, “I love you, Eevee” or “Colorful Friends”. The Eevee version will be able to turn into one of the eight forms of his evolutions.
The release date for this in Japan is January 26th, 2019 and it will cost 2,300 yen, about $20 USD. No word on when it will be released in the United States yet but I’m sure it wont be long after. For those of you who don’t want to wait you can always try Amazon.jp or Ebay for alternative ways to buy this. Of course if you have a friend in Japan that works too.
