Imagine seeing a giant anaconda slithering across a busy Brazilian street. Traffic stops to accommodate the creature, while onlookers video the snake. It was posted in a tweet by a Canadian, who shared the fact that in Canada, they stop for geese. So this must be the Brazilian equivalent. It’s a really huge snake and this type of occurrence apparently happens quite often.
Anacondas can grow to be 10-20 feet long, about the length of a bus. They eat wild pigs, deer, birds, turtles, capybara, caimans, and even jaguars. It’s important to remember that they are nonvenomous and if you don’t bother it, it probably won’t bother you. Still it’s probably best to exercise extreme caution if you come into contact with one. They’re still much bigger than you.
And now for the jokes!
Q: Why did the snake cross the road?
A: To get to the other ssssssside
Q: Why did this anaconda ignore everyone and just cross the street?
A: Because he didn’t want none unless they had buns, hun.
