He’s worked with the action greats and had Spider-Man for a dad. Director Ric Roman Waugh is here to break down working with Jason Statham on their latest film, “Shelter.”

He began his career as a stuntman following in the family footsteps. His father, Fred M. Waugh, was the primary stunt double in “The Amazing Spider-Man” tv series. He later translated those skills to directing, having worked with the likes of Gerard Butler on the “Greenland” movies and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson on “Snitch.” Now he’s adding to his collection of action collaborators with this latest film with Statham.
