    Marisa Abela Joins Chad Stahelski’s “Highlander”

    This just in-

    we have some additional casting news (and possible story news!) about Chad Stahelski’s upcoming “Highlander” take. We already know Henry Cavill will lead the flick, along with his one-time film dad Russell Crowe.

    Today, Amazon MGM Studios officially announced that BAFTA TV award winner Marisa Abela (“Industry,” “Black Bag”) has joined the cast.

    She’ll reportedly play a new character in the franchise, who is an immortal teacher of swordplay, and one of “MacLeod’s past loves.”

    Cameras are reportedly set to roll in September of this year on the flick.
