Today during Marvel Studios’ panel at D23 Brazil, a final trailer for “Captain America: Brave New World” was released.
Harrison Ford is taking on the role of General Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who was originally played by the late William Hurt. Liv Tyler, who played Betty Ross (the General’s daughter), will be joining the film, making the character’s official MCU debut.
Anthony Mackie‘s Sam Wilson has become Captain America. We are very pleased to report Carl Lumbly will be back as Isaiah Bradley, the original super soldier. We first saw him appear in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier” alongside Mackie and Sebastian Stan. Danny Ramirez is also returning as characterJoaquin Torres. Tim Blade Neslon will play Samuel Sterns (a.k.a. the Leader).
There was also a new poster released, that pays homage to this iconic comic cover.
Giancarlo Esposito will be the villain, Sidewinder.
Malcolm Spellman (“The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” series creator) penned the script for “Captain America 4” along with Dalan Musson. Julius Onah is directing. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta, GA.
“Captain America: Brave New World” hits theaters February 14th, 2025.
