After getting the cold shoulder from Warner Bros. Pictures for several months, we finally have a trailer for hte upcoming science fiction film “Mickey 17.” Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho (“Parasite”) directs the film, which is based on Edward Ashton‘s 2022 novel, “Mickey7.” (There was also a sequel book, “Antimatter Blues,” which was released in March of 2023.)

Robert Pattinson (“The Batman,” “The Lighthouse”) stars as Mickey. He’s joined by Naomi Ackie (“Star Wars: Episode IX – The Rise of Skywalker”), Steven Yeun (“Nope”), Toni Collette (“Hereditary”), and Mark Ruffalo (“Poor Things”).
Synopsis: A disposable employee is sent on a human expedition to colonize the ice world Niflheim. After one iteration dies, a new body is regenerated with most of his memories intact.
“Mickey 17” is set to hit theaters January 31st, 2025.
