Oh, Tom Hardy. We love your unbridled fanboy enthusiasm for Eddie Brock and symbiote, Venom. You kind of single handedly kept what should have been a one-and-done film going, and created what is now a trilogy. The third Sony Pictures Spider-Man-adjacent picture is due out this October, and today, we got a new trailer for it.
Eddie and Venom are on the run. Hunted by both of their worlds and with the net closing in, the duo are forced into a devastating decision that will bring the curtains down on Venom and Eddie’s last dance.
We’re actually excited to see what happens with the third symbiote film. ESPECIALLY since “Ted Lasso” star Juno Temple will be along for the ride. Likewise, “Doctor Strange” star Chiwetel Ejiofor will be involved as well, as we saw Mordo meet Eddie Brock in the end credits scene in “Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness.” Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Alanna Ubach, and Stephen Graham also star.
Kelly Marcel directs from a screenplay she wrote, based on a story she wrote with Hardy.
“Venom: The Last Dance” is set to hit theaters October 2024.
