We may know what Steven Spielberg‘s next film will be. The multi-Oscar winner may be developing another UFO movie. David Koepp will be writing the screenplay. Koepp is most well known for his work on Sam Raimi‘s “Spider-Man,” “Mission: Impossible.” and tons of other credits. He’s worked with Spielberg for many years, and the two seem to have a great working rapport.

If you know your Spielberg history, you’ll remember he’s known for one or two popular UFO films. Movies like… “Close Encounters of the Third Kind,” and “E.T. the Extraterrestrial.” The first mentioned was one of the only two films he’s ever written completely by himself, the other being “A.I.: Artificial Intelligence.”

Other Spielberg alien credits include Netflix series “Encounters,” 2002’s “Taken” starring Dakota Fanning, and “Falling Skies” for TNT. Knowing his vast experience with working with film and the unexplained we’re excited to see what he comes up with. Variety seems pretty sure his next flick will be of the unidentified flying object kind.

As of now, there is not really much to say about his possible UFO film other than we’re waiting for more details. We’ll let you know what else we hear about this and other news. Keep watching the skies.
