Tornado booths will be placed in theaters this summer! Customers can stand in them, and have air blown all over them. It’s meant to simulate the experience of being in a tornado, we guess. These are meant to tie into the new Universal Pictures film “TWISTERS,” the companion film to the 1996 critically acclaimed movie, “Twister.”
About “TWISTERS“-
Haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado, Kate Cooper gets lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi, to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. She soon crosses paths with Tyler Owens, a charming but reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures. As storm season intensifies, Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves in a fight for their lives as multiple systems converge over central Oklahoma.
Lee Isaac Chung (“Minari,” “Beef“) directs from a script by Michael Crichton and Mark L. Smith. It stars Daisy Edgar Jones as Kate Cooper, Anthony Ramos as Javi, and Glen Powell (“Top Gun: Maverick“) as Tyler Owens.
It’s set to hit theaters July 19th, 2024. Check out the trailer below:
