    Next “Star Wars” Film Will be “The Mandalorian & Grogu”

    we finally have an answer to why we haven’t heard about another season of “The Mandalorian.” Turns out, Jon Favreau will direct a feature film all about Din Djarin and Grogu, which will be the next “Star Wars” live action film to release.

    No, this doesn’t mean the Rey Skywalker Jedi Master film is shelved or not happening. It just means Mando gets his first.

    “I have loved telling stories set in the rich world that George Lucas created,” Favreau said. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen is extremely exciting.”

    “Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have ushered into Star Wars two new and beloved characters, and this new story is a perfect fit for the big screen,” Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy said of the news.

    Filming is expected to start sometime later this year. We’ll do our best to keep you updated on this and other news.
