    Whether you’ve just started playing Destiny in 2023 or have played for a while now – there is room to grow, even for seasoned D2 players; there is always new content to learn and more skills to improve. And there are many things you should pay attention to if you plan on mastering the game and making it the source of your income. Let’s find out what it takes to become a Pro in Destiny 2.

    From Beginner to Pro

    If you’re pondering the question, I assume you are familiar with the game basics. So let’s cut that part and go straight for the advanced tips. You should cross certain checkpoints off the list to advance in Destiny and gain the distinguishing qualities of an experienced Guardian. Get ready to spend quite some time in the game and with online materials to piece it all together.

    Master Classes

    Make characters of all three classes and play them to understand how different builds and subclasses work, which utilities they provide, and experience their strengths and weaknesses firsthand. Being able to utilize the best class for specific scenarios is crucial. Take your time to understand how different subclass fragments work with one another, and think of the situations where each one can be useful.

    Prepare the Arsenal

    Guardians rely on their powers as much as they do on their Armory. Destiny 2 is famous for its variety of weapons and exotic armor. The more options you bring to the Endgame content – the better. Certain pieces of exotic armor can be the key to your build performance, and missing an exotic weapon can make encounters much more complicated than they could be. Prioritize the most powerful exotics, such as Osteo Striga, Witherhoard, Divinity, and Gjallarhorn. As for the Legendary weapons, especially in the Heavy category, always check the meta and try to loot or craft the God-Rolls as fast as possible.

    Learn the Theory

    Various advanced in-game mechanics need detailed explanations. The most critical information to understand and optimize your build and group setup is:

    • Stacking Buffs – understanding the golden rule of stacking buffs, debuffs, and weapon boosts is required to avoid overlap and choose the proper utilities;
    • Damage Reduction Calculation – to understand the percentage and stacking of the DR modifiers;
    • Counter Champions – learn how to deal with champion enemies using weapons, abilities, exotics, and other interactions;
    • Learn to differentiate the damage buffs from weapon perks and specs against Enemy Types.

    Another side of learning the theory and preparing for the Endgame content is studying the tactics for raid and dungeon encounters before you go for the practice run unless it’s a Day 1 Raiding where you must figure everything out on your own.

    Practice the Content

    Once you’ve studied the theory, it’s time to practice the game content. It’s vital to improve at group communication and cooperation and learn from other players – use the D2LFG or Destiny2LFG Discord channels to find fire teams for Raids and Dungeons, practice encounters, and push for the Master difficulty and Flawless Runs. Destiny is an MMO, so take full advantage of its community features.

    Boosting Services

    Online games with content difficulty gradations create a symbiotic environment for professional and regular players. Once you’ve mastered the game in its entirety or specific aspects, you can put your game expertise to use and turn it into profit, just like any other professional skill. Demand for boosting services is growing and has long become integral to the game flow.

    How Boosting Helps People

    The MMO nature of Destiny and its seasonal model are structured to hook the player for many hours. More often than I’d wish, the game feels like a second job you must attend to keep up the pace, work on your power level, and progress through the season.

    Boosting is a helpful instrument many players utilize to avoid burnout and delegate various necessary tasks. Once you have outsourced the tedious farming or made a shortcut to obtain the best weapon, the game presents itself in a new light, where you can play the activities you enjoy and focus on what’s fun for you.

    Sherpa and Recovery Difference

    The Sherpa and Recovery terminology stands for the Selfplay and Piloted boosting options in Destiny. Following the traditions of the skilled Himalayan mountaineers who lead people to their dreams up to the highest peaks, Destiny Sherpas guide the Guardians to victory against the most challenging opponents in raids, dungeons, or even other Guardians inside the Crucible. At the same time, the local term of Account Recovery is the classic piloted option, where the professional player logs on to the customer’s account to complete complex in-game tasks.

    Most Popular Services

    Seasons go by, but the trends remain faithful to the formula – the most popular services revolve around challenging Endgame PvE activities, such as Master Raids, Dungeons, and Raid Exotics, and an absolute PvP favorite – Flawless Trials of Osiris passage. Studying and mastering these activities can significantly increase your chances of joining the ranks of well-paid boosters.

    What it Takes to Be a Booster in Destiny 2

    Playing your favorite game and getting paid for it – does it sound too good to be true? What potential pitfalls related to this line of work should you be wary of?

    Dream Job or Reality?

    Getting paid for playing the games is easier said than done – it’s the same job as any other out there, with its perks and a particular set of skills required to perform well. Nevertheless, I’m confident that many of my fellow gamers will accept the cons in this line of work much easier than the grunt work or hours in the office.

    Once you’ve reached a certain level of game expertise and can confidently perform the game tasks in your niche, the job is almost relaxed. Your income depends solely on the time you are willing to invest in providing the services to other players, and the more you play, the more you can earn. Few of the pro players I know work with the most prominent marketplaces in the ranks of top boosters, and their schedule is almost round-the-clock. They enjoy this line of work, are well-paid, and are motivated to work hard, which speaks a lot about the boosting profession. And not the last role is played by the person’s ambitions.

    Staying on Top

    It’s crucial to keep up with the constantly changing state of the game, keep track of the meta and balance changes, study and quickly progress the new content, and always maintain the maximum available light. While these are unwanted chores that can be neglected by most of the players, they are essential to your work. If you are serious about boosting, remember that the game is your work.

    Ready for Boosting – Where to Apply?

    Once you feel confident in your skills and want to enter the ranks of Destiny boosters, the next step is to find the right platform to cooperate with. Customer reviews serve as a reliable indication of the quality of service standards, so checking Trustpilot is a good idea. Once you’ve pinned an option or two – find and fill out the «Work With Us» form, provide the required information, and wait for the platform to review your application. For example, look at the open Destiny 2 Booster Application Form on Kingboost.net. And perhaps, soon enough, you’ll be the one to lead other Guardians to their dreams and achievements.
