    Getting Ready for the Beonix Festival: Tips for Visitors on How to Prepare for the Event

    Coming to a party without knowing anything about it is a bad idea. You may just feel out of place, waste your time, and leave empty-handed.

    And if it’s a big once-in-a-year event, it’s crucial to tune your body and soul into the right wavelength in advance.

    The electronic music festival BEONIX 2023 is on the horizon. But you still have plenty of time to prepare for it. Not sure how to do it exactly? We’re here to help you out.

    Getting Your Mind Ready

    Throwing yourself into the unknown can be an exciting experience. But if you don’t want the reality to diverge drastically from your expectations, it’s better to scout what it’s all about.

    In addition to the practical aspects relating to the music festival’s location, time, ways to get to the venue, etc., you need to understand what the celebration is about in a more global sense and set your mind accordingly.

    Get a Sense of the Concept

    The 9th planet concept of the 2023 edition is based on the sensations of the event, namely, moving through space and time and traveling to other worlds.

    So, you must be ready to move into another dimension, have new emotional experiences unattainable in real life, be inspired, or even be reborn.

    Despite the cosmic and futuristic spirit, the fest venue will be a historical setting — one of the oldest wineries of Cyprus — ETKO in Limassol.

    In this way, the organizers are building an unshakable link between the past and the future and manifesting the idea of rebirth.

    Tune in to the Music

    The fact that this is an electronic music festival gives certain input. However, EDM features a broad spectrum of genres and subgenres. If you want more details, check out the festival’s website for its lineup.

    If you’re a devoted fan of the electronic scene, you will surely find your favorites among the announced DJs. So study the dates of their performances carefully.

    With that, festivals are designed to learn new things and discover new names. Beonix will introduce you to a galaxy of global and local artists playing techno, house, electro, dub, trance, and other styles.

    So don’t neglect the performers you don’t know, and after the festival, your playlist will be a lot longer.

    Stay Focused and Conscious

    That doesn’t mean you must be tense — quite the contrary. You should be relaxed and focused on the event, music, and feelings, leaving the cares of your everyday life outside the location.

    Dedicate this weekend to yourself. Let it be your little vacation – the best vacation of your life. So forget about your work and social networks for a while, listen to every sound, and enjoy the surroundings.

    Drinking alcohol at the fest should only be your personal desire and responsibility. However, you don’t need any stimulants to get to Planet 9.

    The festival creators will ensure you have the full experience of being in a fantastic universe. And for complete immersion, it’s better to remain conscious.

    Be a Social Animal

    Beonix has the mighty power of uniting. It gathers like-minded people having the same interests and attitudes.

    That’s why it’s the best place to visit with your friends. If they have no plans for the end of September, give them an idea for this outstanding activity.

    However, your communications should be wider than your circle of friends. Feel free to get acquainted with the other Beonix people. It will be really easy because of at least one common thing — the love of electronic music.

    At the same time, be positive and respect other people’s privacy and personal space. Also, be sure to read the rules of conduct so that your stay at the festival goes without incident.

    Getting Your Body Ready

    Your body should be as comfortable as your soul so that nothing can stop you from having fun and feeling happy. That’s why it’s critical to take care of your basic needs.

    Even if you have researched the history of the fest location and memorized the entire lineup, your party can be completely ruined by uncomfortable clothes, a dead battery, or zero money balance.

    Think About Your Outfit

    At Beonix 2023, 30 hours of electronic music will have you dancing most of the time. Plus, you’ll wish to walk around the location and explore every corner of this fascinating place.

    So when choosing your outfit, put comfort first. It can be eye-catching, themed, or casual, but most importantly — it should not restrict your movements. It’s a good idea to bring a few changes of clothes and shoes just in case.

    If this is your first visit to the festival and Cyprus in general, get a line on this magical island in Southeastern Europe on the east of the Mediterranean Sea.

    September is a hot month in Limassol, with temperatures ranging from 24°C/75°F to 30°C/ 86°F and almost zero chance of rain.

    To have a clue of the possible outfits, you can check out the aftermovie of the last year’s festival, which was held in a different place, but with a very similar climate.

    Remember to Pack Well

    If you’re an experienced party or festival-goer, you’re likely to have your own list of must-haves to help you survive and get the most out of the event.

    The survival kit may differ depending on your personal needs and wants. The main purpose of the belongings you take with you is to make your stay convenient and extend your enjoyment. The items needed include:

    • Identity cards and gadgets;
    • Phone and camera chargers;
    • Extra budget for contingencies;
    • Earplugs and necessary medication;
    • Sunscreen, toiletries, and cosmetics.

    Have Enough to Drink and Eat

    The three-day electronic music marathon can be a real challenge to your physical capabilities. Obviously, your body needs fuel to be a perfectly functioning dance machine.

    So remember to have a timely, nutritious snack to supply sufficient energy to your body.

    And, of course, water. It’s the source of life for everything on Earth and the source of your vitality at the festival in particular.

    Being on the move all the time, you’ll definitely sweat and lose a lot of fluid that needs to be replenished. To avoid dehydration, remember to drink enough water.

    Ready, Steady, Go!

    Well, your brief Beonix training course has been successfully completed. You’re ready to party now!

    Keeping all the preparation tips in mind, you don’t have to dance and party non-stop. Stick to your inner rhythm, listen to your body, and go with your flow.

    What else do you need? Not much. Get a ticket, pack your bags, and tune in!

    Fun awaits you from September 22 to 24 in Limassol.
    See you at ETKO in Cyprus!
