    The Future of NFT Marketing in 2023 and Beyond

    NFT marketing is unlike standard digital marketing for Web2 projects. The prominence of social media channels gave rise to new strategies such as influencer marketing.  

    With the changing social media trends and updates, NFT marketing strategies are also evolving. We will discuss the role of a marketing agency in promoting an NFT brand and future trends in NFT marketing in this article.

    The Role of an NFT Marketing Agency

    Marketing firms take care of everything from launching, promoting, and analyzing the KPIs. They know the ins and outs of launching and promoting an NFT brand. Right from analyzing audience preferences to keeping up with social media trends, they know everything related to marketing. 

    NFT brands and marketing companies work closely with each other. This way, they develop the ways which are best suited for the NFT brand. And, they also create different forms of content to spread the word about their client’s brand. Besides, they keep the community active and keep engaging with them by conducting events and contests. A good marketing firm can take an NFT project from almost nothing to a brand with a strong online presence.

    Web3 projects thrive on communities. This marketing method was not that popular before Web3 games and NFTs. As we use more social media channels, building communities through groups on social media channels like Telegram, Discord, WhatsApp, and Twitter is increasing. 

    When you are part of a group, you can talk to other people in it with similar interests and know more about the project you are a part of. Twitter already became popular for Web3 projects like NFTs. If you are looking for other channels, Reddit is another option. We can hardly see a person who doesn’t use social media these days and we all check social media daily. This way, you can build an active community on social media for your NFT brand. 

    Giveaways and Airdrops

    The first step in marketing is more or less gaining the attention of the potential customer. And, what better way to gain attention than to conduct giveaway contests and airdrops of NFTs?

    The trend of giveaways and airdrops is rising with the rise of social media marketing. By looking at the amount of engagement we get on social media, we can be sure that this trend is going to stay. If you have an NFT brand, this is definitely something you should consider to promote your NFT collection. 

    Influencer Marketing

    Just like it is impossible to see someone without any social media, it became impossible to see social media users without following any influencer. Be it a celebrity, a government official, a travel vlogger, or an actor, we all follow at least a couple of influencers on social media. And, influencers have thousands of followers who follow their content religiously. 

    Whether it is a Web2 company or a Web3 company like an NFT project, everyone can take advantage of influencer marketing. It is a way of showcasing or promoting your project through an influencer. When you do this, the following members will get to know your project and there is a possibility to turn into your customers. As long as social media and the internet exist, this marketing trend is going to stay. 

    PR (Public Relations)

    Just like how we have NFT marketing agencies, we also have public relations or PR agencies. When your project is in the infant stage, the first important step is to get the word out that your project is launching. Crypto and Web3 PR agencies help with the same thing. Publications and niche-specific media help you reach directly your target audience. 

    PR agencies publish press releases about your project and when they reach the right audience, investor interest also increases. You can receive more bids for your NFT auctions or get more buyers to buy your NFT collection.
