To no one’s surprise, former President Donald Trump has been indicted again. In a Truth Social post, Trump’s newest targets of blame for his legal troubles is apparently the X-Men. His ire at being indicted is directed at the usual suspects, but also…mutants? Did we read that right? Once again, he has us scratching our heads as to whether he meant another word. Or whether he even knows what that word means in the first place.

“REALLY BIG FUNDRAISING, EVEN GREATER POLLS, SINCE THE RADICAL LEFT INDICTMENT HOAX WAS INITIATED BY THE MISFITS, MUTANTS, MARXISTS, & COMMUNISTS! THANK YOU,” the post reads.
What exactly did Wolverine do to piss him off? Or maybe Nightcrawler? Though we’re pretty sure you don’t want to awaken the ire of Professor X and his team. But to be fair, Trump seems to be thanking them in his post while simultaneously blaming them.

The official definition of “mutant,” according to the Cambridge Dictionary, is: “an organism that is different from others of its type because of a permanent change in its genes.” The term CAN be derogatory, obviously. Who exactly is he referring to? Or does he consider those that disagree with him somehow non-human at this point? Is this aimed at the queer community? It’s really hard to say, given his occasional word vomit being unintelligible sometimes.
A previous speech made during his Miami court appearance was of a similar tone. “It’s a political persecution like something straight out of a fascist or communist nation,” Trump said. “This day will go down in infamy and Joe Biden will forever be remembered as not only the most corrupt president in the history of our country, but perhaps even more importantly the president who together with a band of his closest thugs, misfits, and Marxists tried to destroy American democracy.”

We’re curious to see how long before he founds a real-life Friends of Humanity Mar-a-Lago chapter.
