    Thomas Kail to Direct Live-Action “Moana” for Disney

    This just in-

    Disney’s NEXT live-action adaptation of a beloved animated film, “Moana,” has found its’ director. Thomas Kail, Tony-winning director of Broadway favorite “Hamilton,” will helm the film for the House of Mouse.

    We already know Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be reprising his demi-god role of Maui for the live-action, as well as acting as an executive producer via his Seven Bucks banner.

    Original “Moana” screenwriter Jared Bush is also writing this version, along with Dana Ledoux Miller.

    We’ll let you know what we hear about this and other “Moana” news.
