Oscar Mayer is officially changing the name of the iconic Weinermobile. This will be the first time in 100 years the Weinermobile has undergone a name change. But why is Oscar Mayer changing it now?
Rolling out to grocery retailers nationwide this month, Oscar Mayer debuts a tasty new recipe for its All Beef Franks that is more flavorful than ever before. Drawing inspiration from the frank-tastic new recipe, the fleet of six “Frankmobiles” feature bunder-ful new elements including saucy new decals, rebranded Frank Whistles (formerly Wiener Whistles) and a newly renamed line-up of Hotdoggers behind the wheel – now known as Frankfurters.
While it boasts a new name, the Frankmobile continues the vehicle’s mission to spark smiles and unite fans around a love of meat – and enjoy some delicious All Beef Franks along the way. What’s more, the Frankmobile is offering “Franks for Franks,” so anyone named an iteration of “Frank” can stop by in real life to get their hands on a coupon for a free pack of delicious Oscar Mayer 100% Beef Franks.
