Are you ready for what will be the reunion of a lifetime? Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan are both returning for a sequel to the 2003 body-swap comedy “Freaky Friday.” When Curtis was doing press for “Halloween Ends,” she admitted still gets asked about “Freaky Friday,” 20 years later.

The big news now is apparently both Curtis and Lohan are close to nearing a deal to return for a sequel. “Something really touched a chord. When I came back, I called my friends at Disney and said, ‘It feels like there’s a movie to be made,'” the Oscar winner said.
“Jamie and I are both open to that, so we’re leaving it in the hands that be,” Lohan said. “We would only make something that people would absolutely adore.” The actress recently announced she’ll be welcoming her first child.
The Curtis-Lohan 2003 version was a remake of the Barbara Harris-Jodie Foster 1976 film of the same name and premise.
We don’t have a film date or know when they are going to start production, but we will keep you updated!
