We are sorry to report on the passing of controversial yet iconic television host, Jerry Springer. The former Mayor of Cincinnati rocketed to national fame following the launch of his daytime talk show. Most notable for outrageous guests and interviews, the series ran for a whopping 28 seasons.
“Jerry’s ability to connect with people was at the heart of his success in everything he tried whether that was politics, broadcasting or just joking with people on the street who wanted a photo or a word,” Jene Galvin, a lifelong friend and spokesman for the family, said in a statement.
Springer was 79.

Though she be but little, she is fierce.
