    First Look at Elphaba, Glinda from “Wicked” Film

    Thanks to director Jon M. Chu, we have our first look at Oscar nominee Cynthia Erivo and multi-Grammy winner Ariana Grande in the upcoming film version of stage musical “Wicked.”

    Erivo plays Elphaba, and Grande is Glinda.

    Johnathan Bailey (“Bridgerton“) will play the part of Elphaba’s love interest, Fiyero. Jeff Goldblum also joined the cast recently, and while his role hasn’t been confirmed, we’re kind of confident he’ll be The Wizard.

    Universal Pictures has dated the two part film for Christmas 2024 and 2025 release dates. We’ll of course let you know what we hear about this and other news.
