Elon Musk’s Twitter has Merged with X Corp.

Anyone else tired of hearing about Elon Musk? Us to. The bumbling former richest man continues to make changes to Twitter that are both useless and nonsensical. Ever since his purchase of the social media platform, users have complained about any number of things. Notifications are partially broken, Twitter Blue is a crock, etc. The platform has been, for lack of a better word, completely mangled. And the hits just keep coming Musk is now absorbing Twitter Inc. into X Corp.

In short, Twitter Inc. no longer exists. While the platform is still there, the underlying company behind it doesn’t. X Corp. is yet another company that Musk is President of. As with all things regarding Musk and business, there’s a massive amount of convoluted nonsense to get through. Ultimately, the situation is rather confusing, and indicates Musk continues to be very weird about how he does business.

    It’s All For “X”

By weird, we mean a lack of common sense, decency, and feels a lot like someone throwing dishes in a dryer thinking it’s a good idea. Last year, the “entrepreneur” created three companies that were supposed to bring him some benefit in buying Twitter. Twitter itself was meant to merge with one of those three. That’s no longer the case and is now being merged with the parent company of X Corp., X Holdings Corp. So where exactly is this going? Musk wants to create “X,”va “super app” that can apparently be used for everything. What exactly he means by “everything” remains to be seen, but owning Twitter would accelerate it’s creation, apparently.

This might also explain why Twitter itself has been falling apart in the year’s time Musk has owned it. While Twitter continues to crumble, Musk is likely putting all of his time and energy into creating X. Anyone else feeling like this is a Sauron and the One Ring situation?
