Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson will apparently be directing an adaptation of Disney’s classic “The Aristocats.” Reportedly, this will be a “live-action hybrid” film. (Think Jon Favreau‘s “Jungle Book.”) The 1970 animated feature film was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, who happened to bookend it with “The Jungle Book” and “Robin Hood.”
When we last heard about this project, Will Gluck and Keith Bunin were reportedly working on a script.
