Actor Daniel Radcliffe, best known for his portrayal of Harry Potter in the blockbuster film franchise, is expecting his first child with girlfriend Erin Darke. Scott Boute, a representative for Radcliffe, confirmed the news on March 26th.
Radcliffe and Darke have been in a relationship for a decade, having first met while filming the 2013 drama “Kill Your Darlings.” The couple later worked together on the set of “Don’t Think Twice” in 2016. Darke has since made appearances in Radcliffe’s TBS comedy series “Miracle Workers.”
In an interview with Newsweek in 2022, Radcliffe expressed his desire to introduce his children to the world of film sets. “I want my kids, if and when they exist…I would love them to be around film sets,” he said, but added that he believes the fame side of it “should be avoided at all costs.”
Despite being a global star since childhood, Radcliffe has managed to maintain a relatively private personal life. In a 2022 interview with People Magazine, he spoke about his contentment with his life with Darke, saying “We’re really happy. We have a really nice life.”
Fans will no doubt be excited by the news of his impending parenthood and eagerly anticipate updates on the new addition to the Radcliffe-Darke family.
