After the end of the limited-time 7-Star Cinderace Tera Raid event, Trainers can still anticipate more from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. While the Cinderace Tera Raid event will return at a later time, you can take a shot at finding Hydreigon and Dragapult in regular 4-Star and 5-Star Tera Raids. The Tera Hydreigon and Dragapult will be limited-time events as well, and here we will see more about the details surrounding the events.
Hydreigon and Dragapult Tera Raid Event in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Explained
The Dragapult and Hydreigon limited-time Tera Raid events will take place for a short duration and will end just before Phase 2 of the 7-Star Cinderace Tera Raid event starts. The event will be similar to the Tyranitar and Salamence Tera Raids. Each version of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet will receive one of the above Pokémon to fight their Tera Raid battles. Pokémon Scarlet players will get Hydreigon Tera Raids, while Dragapult Tera Raids will be available for Pokémon Violet players.
Event Duration and How to Find Hydreigon and Dragapult Tera Raids in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
The event will start on 6th January 2023 and will end on 8th January 2023. As mentioned above, these will be 4-Star and 5-Star raids, so long-time players would have already unlocked those Tera Raids. If you haven’t yet, you can unlock 4-Star Tera Raids by getting 7 Gym Badges. 5-Star Tera Raids will be unlocked once you complete the main story. After meeting all the requirements, you can check the map for 4-Star and 5-Star Tera Raid Crystals. They will spawn at random across Paldea.
What to Expect During the Hydreigon and Dragapult Tera Raids in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Hydreigon and Dragapult will not have fixed Tera types, so you need to come prepared to face them in various types. Hydreigon is generally a Dark and Dragon-type Pokémon, while Dragapult is a Dragon and Ghost-type Pokémon. Both these Pokémon are pseudo-legendary, so if you wish to capture them in a certain Tera type, this is your best chance to do so.
