    First Look at Neill Blomkamp’s “Gran Turismo” Revealed

    During the 2023 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Sony Pictures revealed the first look at Neill Blomkamp’s upcoming live-action film adaptation of “Gran Turismo.”

    Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film is the ultimate wish fulfillment tale of a teenage “Gran Turismo” player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional race car driver.

    The film stars David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou. Blomkamp directs from a script by Jason Hall and Zach Baylin.

    “Gran Turismo” currently has a release date of August 11th, 2023.
