    Fleetwood Mac’s Christine McVie, Rock Icon, Passes Away

    We are so very sorry to share the news that rock and roll icon Christine McVie has passed away. Probably best known as keyboardist/pianist/sometimes vocalist for the legendary band Fleetwood Mac, McVie was an accomplished songwriter and performer. She was married to fellow Mac member John McVie, bassist.

    McVie reportedly had battled a sudden illness.

    Fleetwood Mac released a statement on McVie’s passing to their Facebook page.

    She was 79.
