after many years and rumors, it would appear an actual live-action adaptation of popular video game franchise “Gears of War” is happening. Today marks the 16th anniversary of the title’s first releasing, so what better time to announce it?
Netflix reportedly has partnered with Canadian game developer The Coalition to adapt the “Gears of War” franchise into a film. The movie will be followed by an adult animated series. And if all that goes well, more things in-universe will probably happen.
No word on who may be helming the project, casting, or a possible release date. But we’ll let you know what we hear.
