Saturday at SDCC 2022 kicked off with a very large Warner Bros. Pictures panel. Everyone in the audience was given light up badges with the “Black Adam” logo!

We’ll be updating as things progress, so keep checking back!

Tiffany Smith is hosting the panel.

“Shazam! Fury of the Gods” is the first film featured. Star Zachary Levi is on hand to vamp. “There’s so much heart and humor. I’m like a Peter Pan at heart,” he says.

They’ve brought a special something trailer!

    The main cast is here!

Cameos of additional possible DC Comics characters are teased, but not confirmed.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson makes a hell of an entrance with smoke and thunderous subwoofers before appearing in FULL COSTUME.

A very quick change, and Johnson joins the gathered cast.

“The dream, when I first started in this business, you’d bring movies here and hope people like it. But to be here, to see Black Adam levitate and hand out lightning like candy, is a true dream come true,” Johnson says.

We got a new trailer, which may or may not be released later.

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
