Marvel Movies have been out and around since their inception back in the 90s but they’ve only gotten more and more entangled as time has passed by. With over 25 Marvel movies out there, each having something important for the next, Marvel fans can’t really afford to miss one, if they are looking to get the whole story right.
With stories getting more and more complicated and the plots only getting more intertwined, it’s definitely hard to figure out where to start watching the Marvel movies and where to end them. And with players getting burnt out of finding cheap game keys, it’s the perfect time to get into Marvel movies!

Captain America: The First Avenger (2011)
Captain America is the fifth Marvel Studios film. Before it, there were films based on the Hulk and Thor. However, it is the first film on our list since the events occur first during World War II. Starting with the creation of Super Soldier, as well as his first battle with Hydra and its leader, Red Skull. The film also introduces the Tesseract, which is later revealed to be the first Infinity Stone and one of the powerful gems that control reality.
Captain Marvel (2019)
The second film is Captain Marvel, which was released back in 2019. In Captain Marvel, set in 1995, we see the hero Carol Danvers, played by Brie Larson, fall to Earth and embark on a hunt for the shape-shifting Aliens.
Iron Man
Moving on we have the first Iron Man movie set in 2010, about Tony Stark, the genius inventor, and philanthropist. Played by Robert Downey Jr. who is kidnapped by a terrorist organization whose leader wants Stark’s latest weapon system. However, in order to help himself escape the first Iron Man suit, Stark created something much more powerful.
Iron Man 2
The story continues with Iron Man 2. Tony Stark is dealing with the revelation of his Iron Man identity and now the government wants the technology behind his suit, and when Stark refuses to hand it over, another bad guy shows up to obtain it by any means. This film also introduces fellow Avengers “The Black Widow” and “War Machine”.
The Hulk
And then we move on to the first Hulk movie where Bruce Banner recognizes that he will never be able to control or contain the Hulk and Ross decides to create his own version of the Hulk using another soldier, but he quickly loses control.
Thor (2011)
God of Lightning has been banished from Asgard by his father Odin due to Loki’s deceit in order to reclaim his powers and control his hammer. Fortunately, he meets a scientist from Earth, played by Natalie Portman, who can assist him in putting things right before Loki takes complete control of Asgard.
The Avengers
Now with all of the main heroes introduced, the real challenge was finding something difficult enough to force them to come together. Loki’s collective strength, the tesseract, and an alien horde invading new york city proved to be just the thing, forcing these superheroes to work together to fight the evil.
Iron Man 3 (2013)
Six months after the giant fight in new york city, the third and final stand-alone iron man film takes place. Tony Stark is dealing with memories of a battle that nearly killed him. These memories drive him to create an army of iron man suits so he can always be prepared.
Thor 2
After the Loki-led invasion of New York City, Thor returns to Asgard. To fight the Ancient Dark Elves, who were once defeated by his grandfather and thought to be extinct, have returned. They’re back in search of the Ether, a powerful weapon that is later revealed to be an infinity stone or one of the MCU’s six powerful gems.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier
After what happens in Avengers, Captain America has been working for Shield, a secret government agency. However, when he learns more about the organization’s plans, he senses that something far more sinister is at work. Furthermore, his closest friend resurrects from the dead and becomes an adversary. Sebastian Stan plays the Winter Soldier. The Falcon, played by Anthony Mackie, is also introduced in this film.
Guardians of the Galaxy
Chris Pratt plays Peter Quill, a rogue scavenger who stumbles across an Infinity Stone hidden in the ruins of an alien world in Guardians of the Galaxy. In a race against time, he gathers a motley crew of outcasts that includes a talking raccoon, Groot, The Talking Tree, and others. They must prevent Ronin the Assailant from wielding the Infinity Stone.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2
The sequel picks up a few months after the first, with Peter Quill falling more in love with Zoe Saldana’s Gamora and being forced to confront his past when he comes face to face with Ego, a God-like entity.
The Avengers: Age of Ultron
The Avengers reassemble to confront a blunder made by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner “The Ai” known as Ultron. New Avengers is also introduced in this film. Elizabeth Olsen plays the Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor Johnson plays Quicksilver, and Paul Bettany plays Vision.
The Ant-Man
Stars of Ant-Man Michael Douglas Hank recruits Paul Rudd as a cat burglar to prevent the Ant-Man Suit from being weaponized. Kim’s former prodigy, played by Corey Stoll, has recreated the technology in the form of a yellow jacket suit, and now the Ant-Man must stop him.
Captain America: Civil War
Civil War includes almost every single Avenger, as well as two new faces, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther and Tom Holland as Spider-Man. Unfortunately, the Avengers are divided into factions as a result of Captain America’s desire to save his friend Bucky Barnes, who appears to be responsible for the bombing of a United Nations session.
Spiderman: Homecoming
Moving on we see Spiderman making its way to the team, facing up against Michael Keaton’s Vulture. After recovering technology from the New York City battle in the first Avengers film, a construction foreman becomes a black-market weapons dealer. And now Peter must do everything in his power to save the day.
Doctor Strange
Steven Strange, played by Benedict Cumberbatch, is a world-class surgeon who gets into a tragic accident that takes away his hands. Strange then travels the world in search of a cure that will restore his hand function, and he does find an answer in the form of some ancient magic.
Black Panther
Following the United Nations bombing in Civil War, Black Panther is forced to return home to Wakanda and be crowned King. Once there, he is confronted with a continuing policy of isolation that has helped to protectWakanda. He also encounters a relic from his father’s past in the form of Eric Killmonger, played by Michael B Jordan.
Thor: Ragnarok
Thor’s third solo film sees the hero jettison across space following his Father’s Death and the destruction of his hammer by his long-lost sister Hella. Thor and Hulk join forces with Loki and Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie to take on Hela.
Ant-Man and the Wasp
Scott Lang has returned, but he has been placed under house arrest as a result of his role in the Civil War and his support for Captain America. Hope, Hank Payman Pym’s daughter, has been estranged from him. However, he reluctantly agrees to assist them in the hope that Pym may be able to retrieve Hope’s mother from the Quantum Realm.
Black Widow (2021)
Scarlett Johansson stars as Natasha Romanov at a period of exile in her life in Black Widow. It occurs after the events of the Civil War but before the events of the Infinity War. It’s Being Constructed As A Prequel To Explain Black Widow’s Background As She Explores Her Past, Including A Fatherly Figure Played By David Harper Known As The Red Guardian.
Avengers: Infinity War
Thanos has decided to go get all of the Infinity Stones himself after years of orchestrating things from the dark. The Avengers, who are now dispersed around the universe, is the only thing standing in his way. To raise the stakes even higher, Thanos’ only motivation for seeking the Stones’ power is to wipe out half of all life in the universe.
Avengers: Endgame
After Thanos wiped out half of all life, leaving the universe in complete disarray, the Avengers must try to put things right. After five years, there is a slim chance that they may be able to undo everything, but before that can happen, Captain America and Tony Stark must make peace and reunite the Avengers for the final time.
Wandavision
Wanda Maximoff, played by Elizabeth Olsen, has quietly been one of the most tragic characters in the MCU. She was left stranded in a pile of rubble for days after losing her family in a bombing. Then, during the events of Avengers: Age of Ultron, her brother died. She then seizes control of a small town in New Jersey in order to create a happier version of her own life. The events of the series take place in the weeks following the reanimation of everyone who was snapped.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier
The Winter Soldier and Falcon Anthony Mackie as The Falcon and Sebastian Stans as The Winter Soldier team up to face a new threat in the form of The Flag Smashers, who have obtained some type of super-soldier serum similar to the one that turned their former friend Steve Rogers into Captain America. This series takes place before Spider-Man Far From Home because we know it takes place six months after the Snap, which would put us around the spring of 2024 in the MCU Far From Home takes place only a little later, coinciding with the end of Peter’s school year in 2024.
Spiderman: Far From Home
Far From Home, although being over two years old, is the most recent Marvel film, and it serves as our first look at the MCU post-Infinity War, as we see everyone who was snapped by Thanos returned to life five years later, freshly un-snapped. Peter Parker travels to Europe on a field trip, but he is surprised by Nick Fury and Jake Gyllenhaal’s Mysterio, who need his assistance against Elemental enemies.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings
Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Ring pits Shang-Chi against the Mandarin, played by Hong Kong film legend Tony Lung. We see Ben Kingsly make his way back to the MCU, as well as some other familiar characters.
Loki
Loki appears to have occurred outside of the timeline itself since we see the inner workings of the Tva replacing it at the end of the watch list, mostly because the show is about the whole MCU Timeline. Whether it’s Loki dealing with events from every stage of the MCU, such as his defeat in New York, his mother’s death, and his own death at Thanos’ hands.
