Today at The Game Awards, Ben Schwartz unveiled the “Sonic The Hedgehog 2” trailer. There was a special video from Jim Carrey addressing the fans where he talked about his grandfather’s advice.
It didn’t really make sense but hey, we got a trailer!
The trailer is exciting for fans because we get to see and hear everything that we wanted to. Just like the original games “Sonic The Hedgehog 2” features his buddy Miles “Tails” Prower” who’s voiced by Colleen O’Shaughnessey the voice of the cartoon character. During the trailer you get to see Sonic and Tails go head to head with Dr. Eggman played by Jim Carrey. This version of Dr. Robotnik is starting to look a lot more like the cartoon version with a shiny bald head and the iconic mustache.
Also making his debut in the trailer is Knuckles (Idris Elba) who seems to be on the side of Robotnik. You’ll be able to find out what happens in the movie when it premieres early next year.
“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” hits theaters April 8th, 2022.
