The Metalist Restores Old Axe, Adds Badass Skull to Blade

The Metalist has just restored an axe to pristine condition, and added an artistic twist. Not only is this axe worthy of an armory, it feels like something you’d customize in a MMORPG. Check out how he restores something old and makes it new again in his latest YouTube video.

According to the post, the filler metal is harder than the original metal. So in that case, The Metalist has beefed it up quite a bit. Hopefully his prep will allow it to last much longer than it would have otherwise. He says that while it’s probably not the best for chopping, it still works great. He sees it as more of a decorative piece.
