Dear Krispy Kreme, we adore you and your new campaign to give away free donuts. And this isn’t just any giveaway either- it’s a wonderful incentive for EVERYONE to get their Covid-19 vaccines.

Starting today (March 22nd) until December 31st, customers with a valid COVID-19 vaccination card will get a free Original Glazed doughnut “anytime, any day, even every day,”

Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing Officer Kave Skena said in a statement:

“We all want to get COVID-19 behind us as fast as possible and we want to support everyone doing their part to make the country safe by getting vaccinated as soon as the vaccine is available to them.”

So, get those vaccinations, keep wearing your mask and washing your hands, respect social distancing and any/all posted guidelines and rules- and get yourself a free treat.

We'd like to show sweet support to those who have received the COVID-19 Vaccine. Starting today, bring your Vaccine Card to a Krispy Kreme shop and get 1 FREE Original Glazed doughnut. No chance to get your Vaccine? This will run thru end of 2021. Info at https://t.co/gWnWhXOKKq pic.twitter.com/UqmDLne5E9

Mary Anne Butler (Mab) has been part of the fast-paced world of journalism since she was 15, getting her start in album reviews and live concert coverage for a nationally published (print) music magazine. She eventually transitioned to online media, writing for such sites as UGO/IGN, ComicsOnline, Geek Magazine, Ace of Geeks, Aggressive Comix (where she is still Editor-in-Chief), Bleeding Cool (where she was News Editor), and now Nerdbot as Editor-In-Chief. Over the past 10 years, she’s built a reputation at conventions across the globe as a cosplayer (occasionally), photographer (constantly), panelist and moderator (mostly), and reporter (always). Interviews, reviews, observations, breaking news, and objective reporting are the name of the game for the founder of Harkonnen Knife Fight, a Dune-themed band with an international presence. Though she be but little, she is fierce.
