I cannot describe my love for the Double Down that once was available at KFC. Since they got rid of that amazing sandwich I have boycotted the chain. Every time we drive by I let go a heavy sigh of what used to be. Now it seems that they may have exactly what it takes to bring me back. A freaking CHEETO Sandwich.
Unfortunately… according to KFC the sandwiches are only available in, “select restaurants throughout the Greensboro, North Carolina, Raleigh, North Carolina, Roanoke, Virginia, Richmond, Virginia and Greenville, Georgia area.” So California is left out…
The good news is that if it does well enough with the test audiences it may be rolled out nation wide! And you know what? I have waited this long.. I can wait for this too.
