Endgame hasn’t come out yet but Josh Brolin is already hard at work on his next big sci-fi role: that of Gurney Halleck in Denis Villeneuve’s adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune. Brolin posted a photo to Instagram of himself, looking a bit battered, and included a quote from his character in the novel.
Since filming is already underway for the movie it is quite possible that Brolin is already on location. Regardless, it is clear the actor is working hard to bring authenticity to his weapons master character. But then Brolin is no stranger to hard work, having done a grueling 3 hours a day of training to get that buff bod for Cable in Deadpool 2. Hopefully his dedication will result in a similar payoff for Dune.
But we will have to wait until 2020 to see.
