This post gets classified in area of things-I-new-could-be-done-but-didn’t-know-how-so-I-searched-and-searched-and-finally-found-the-solution-buried-deep-in-a-help-file-so-I-thought-I’d-post-about-it-just-to-get-the-solution-out-in-one-more-location-so-you-can-find-it-easier. You know, the TINCBDBDKHSISASAFFTSBDIAHFSITIPAIJTGTSOIOMLSYCFIE area.
Anyway, to use a condition in your search query when making a Gmail filter, use OR in between your keywords… in all caps. So to search for your or me, you would write “you OR me”.
Not very exciting, but it took me while to find so I thought I’d share. Don’t nobody never say I ain’t never done nothing for the peoples.
